On pharmaceutical company websites that have medications, for legal reasons, they are only accessible to ‘healthcare professionals with capacity to prescribe or dispense medications’.
To simplify this, several of our clients asked us to develop a module that would show a modal (a popup) hiding all the content, asking the user if they are a healthcare professional. If they are, they are allowed to see the page and all subsequent ones for x time (configurable) and if they are not, they are redirected to other parts of the website not restricted to professionals: the home page, or the previous page.
